Employee

Last my week my godson was here to see how his godfather had become an employee of Elvetino.
Today I’ll travel to Munich for my work, and then back to Zurich.

A few days ago, a grandson, at the age of your godson, of a colleague of mine, lost his favorite bag of toys in a airport. The boy wanted to chop the thieves in pieces and roast them on the barbecue.
(He made me think about your godson who wanted to kill everybody standing between him and his desires.)
Oh Dear, it looks like we have the same set of Glasses, Mr. Arnon.
And as for this entry: What's the difference between Work and Zurich?
Honestly, I have the exact same glasses too - we should put up pictures.
Arnon, I have noticed you're not reacting to me, and I should know better not to be so hard-headed. But I simply couldn't resist commenting this time for nostalgic reasons: Jan, Dens and me.
And I have glasses too, but not the same kind, alas.
The babyrat has become a big rat, that's nice.

Please don’t take my silence personally.
I wear glasses too. I consider them one of the best features of my face, like it's not complete without them, I'm quite attached to them. My godson used to ask me to take my glasses off, after which he'd state: "a funny face!" and start to laugh.
I often have the same feeling when I see someone who has turned to lenses.
@Pablo, oh but I wear my glasses exclusively in the mornings and before I go to bed. I used to wear them when I wanted to be taken more seriously. I think I've gotten over that. My next challenge is to learn not to take things personally (I'll try Arnon!).
@Noa
Ah, it's very clear then that between mornings and going to bed you also have: a funny face! :o)

It's the same with me though: It's not a matter of looking more serious, I like them first of all because they help me to see better and secondly it's a bit like the rug in The Big Lebowski: it really ties the room together.

Are you aware of anyone having urinated on your glasses?
@ Oscar
No, now that you mention it, I was completely in the dark about that, but my glasses are often blurry indeed... it's all the fault of the nihilists.
