Librarian
Censorship
Once again I will quote Gail Collins:
“We had been waiting for a long time to hear from Palin, who went to the mattresses almost immediately after she was introduced to the nation by John McCain last week. What followed was a long line of unexpected revelations, from the fabled teenage pregnancy to my own personal favorite: the threat to fire the town librarian who refused to censor books.”
Threatening to fire librarians because they are not willing to censor books is proof that Sarah Palin takes books very seriously.

Wait until she takes you and me and all of us seriously.
Is the picture photoshopped? Quite telling, isn't it.
The picture is in fact photoshopped, but the fact that I wasn't even sure before I saw the evidence says it all.
I too long for an era where librarians have more power. I recently found a book in my bookcase that my father once bought from a library (used book). It carried a leaflet with it (glued onto the first page) which states some guidelines to read and maintain the book. I thought it was marvelous.
