Brooklyn, Thanksgiving dinner.
First Derrida and Lacan are discarded as no real scholars.
Then the host retells a joke that was a couple of weeks told to him by the thinker Slavoj Zizek.
A son asks his mother, “Mom, what’s the Oedipus complex?”

“Don't ask those questions,” the mother answers, “just keep fucking.”

Dit is fanmail, vreselijke nederlandse fanmail. Soms ben ik te laat. Hans Warren en zijn dagboeken ontdekte ik nadat hij was overleden. Nu grijp ik de kans om jou Arnon, terwijl je nog leeft, te zeggen dat ik je boeken heb gelezen. Natuurlijk vond ik er ook wat van. Ik zeg daar niets over want dan wordt de fanmail nog vreselijker. Ik laat het hierbij.

@rieneke, why not ! Why only scream and shout for sport(wo)men ? Let us raise our voices loud and clear . Too much sophisticated cool already in the Arty World. Hans Warren's poems are a joyce forever. Let's smile and shiver. Say it, please, don't hold back even if nobody's listening, especially if nobody's listening.
