Suspicious remarks
Safe?
The Hindustan Times reports: “A US airline has apologized to members of an Indian-origin Muslim family including three children, who were off loaded from a plane after co-passengers overheard what they thought was a "suspicious" remark.
The family was not allowed to board the AirTran flight to Orlando from Washington after they were removed from the plane despite the FBI clearing them of any wrongdoing.
Kashif Irfan and his brother Atif, both Indian-Americans born in Detroit and based in Virginia, along with their wives, a sister and 3 children were removed from the flight before takeoff on Thursday after some passengers reported that one of them was discussing the safest place to travel in an airplane.”
Let this be a warning: don’t discuss the safety of a plane inside the plane. Especially not when you are looking vaguely suspicious.
To be on the safe side just say these two words on a plane: "Chicken, please."

No, no! Muslims eat chicken too… Order pork to be on the safe side.
Bernar, Mr. Arnon can't eat pork. Or better: he may not.
"I'm a chicken, so please, place me anywhere you like "
is the best frase to use, probably. This story added to my idea of how dumb US airline workers can be. One look at this family should have been enough...
Looking suspicious
There was a time I had my hear in long, dark braids. A woman attacked me on the street because she thought I was a gipsy.
Noth much is needed to look suspicious.
It should be NOT of course.
Touched by a woman
Last summer I got touched by a woman on Crete. I was at the airplane, on the telephone with my boyfriend, happy to go home and see him again some hours later. I didn't understand what the woman in the uniform was saying, her accent was too heavy or her English was bad. But I assumed it had something to do with the things I carried on my body so I said to her: I'm wearing my wallet in my trousers and also I showed her my bracelets, metal belt and watch. She didn't react but literally dragged me through the detection port that began to make a lot of noice. The next moment this uniformed lady touched my whole body. When she hit the spot where I kept my wallet she looked very angry at me. Everyone could have seen from ten miles distance that I was carrying something in my pocket, I told the lady too, but no, she had to feel it to believe it. Therefor I think that sometimes safety personnell isn't really concerned with safety but with other things.
