The Buenos Aires Herald reports: “The Emirates government said yesterday it had succeeded in eliminating the use of young boys as camel jockeys and UNICEF confirmed the eradication of a practice that had drawn global criticism.” Does this mean that we will have no camel races in the future? I always thought the jockey has to be short and light. Why has the jockey to be young?
