Paper

Shop

This morning a young, shabby-looking man approached me on the corner of 37th Street and 3rd Avenue.
“I’m looking for the corner of 3rd Avenue and 37th Street,” he said.
“That’s here,” I answered.
He had a piece of paper in his hand with the address: 567 3rd Avenue.
“Do you this know this address?” he asked.
“It must be around here. Is it an apartment or a shop?”
“I’m not sure. I have a job interview at 11.”
“Well, let’s see.”
We walked together on 3rd Avenue. Suddenly he shouted: “There it is -- Dunkin Donuts. Of course Dunkin Donuts.”
And he sprinted in the direction of Dunkin Donuts.
