Heidelberg

2016

In 2012 at a reading in Heidelberg I met a German bookseller named Susanne. She wanted to tour with me through Germany in a VW bus, her significant other would cook for us. Food and literature would be brought to the people. (See here.)
The idea was appealing but I had to postpone it because of my visit to the mental institution last summer. (See for example here.)
Tonight, Susanne showed up after the reading in Stuttgart. Her significant other had left her for a young Russian, but then the young Russian had left him and Susanne was still looking forward touring with me through Germany.
I answered: “Next summer is going to be difficult, but in 2016 we will do it. How many weeks will you need me?”
“Two weeks will do,” she said.
