Coincidence

Books

Sometimes an author doesn’t know his own books very well, or to be more precise he forgets certain details. I’d completely forgotten that in my novel “The Man without Illness” an Austrian author appears (on page 155 in the German translation), the author Daniel Glattauer, with his book “Forever Yours” (Ewig Dein).
The charming bookseller in Osnabrück said: “This is such a coincidence, because next week Glattauer comes to Osnabrück to give a reading.”
“That is quite a coincidence,” I said. “Give him my regards.”
