I always had a weak spot for Taverne du Passage in Brussels.
It reminded me of something, I’m not sure what, perhaps I just had spent some agreeable afternoons and evenings there.
Tonight, I came in with my son and a very good friend, the service was horrific. That can happen, I’m not complaining.
It’s a casino out there, especially in Brussels.
But the moment the waiter pushed a guest out of the restaurant, and they almost started a fist fight – the guest wanted to have another table, he claimed that he got a bad table because he was not wearing Rolex, sure, a strange argument, but no reason to push a guest physically out of the restaurant – I decided that I would not return to Taverne du Passage.
Sometimes you have to let go, also of restaurants.
