Arnon Grunberg went on a holiday with a Dutch family to Greece in the summer of 2010. On the 10th of September 2010 NRC Handelsblad published the report.
NRC Handelsblad published an article (June 11th 2010) about the audition Grunberg organised to select the lucky family.
The winner was revealed in an article by Grunberg in NRC Handelsblad (June 18th 2010).
The family holiday with Grunberg has been documented by visual artist Wendela Hubrecht, who also photographed the families that couldn't take Grunberg with them.
From February 9th 2012 till March 18th 2012 Foam hosted the exhibition Les vacances de Monsieur Grunberg.
On the occasion of the exhibition in Foam Les vacances de Monsieur Grunberg was published by Lido in 2012.
NRC Handelsblad published an advance publication on the 26th of January 2012. Also published in De Standaard on the 4th of February 2012.
