Over a terrific dinner my Hungarian translator informed me that also my former Hungarian publisher, Peter Z., has disappeared.
His seemed to have moved to Berlin, with or without his family. After this his whereabouts are unknown. Shady business deals might have something to do with his disappearance but of course this is nothing more than an educated guess.
Are there actually Hungarian publishers who don’t go into hiding?
