This morning I went to the doctor to have two warts removed.

“You are in contact with children, aren’t you?” the doctor asked.

“Well,” I said, “sometimes. But do children give you warts?”

“Yes,” the doctor said. “Since I have grandchildren I have warts again myself.”

“This is new to me,” I said. “But from now on I’ll be very careful with children.”
