Two detainees have been on a hunger strike for more than twelve months.
They are being force-fed twice a day.
According to the doctor the process of being force-fed is painless.
He said: “Sometimes when we are busy and we are not on time with the force-feeding the detainees complain that they are hungry.” I asked: “Isn’t it a bit illogical to complain about hunger and asking to be force-fed when you are on a hunger strike?” The doctor answered: “Yes, that is illogical.”
