Bed

Limping along

While going through my library I found the novel ‘Blue Skies, No Candy” by Gael Greene.
It was given to my by my fiancée Elayne Kleeman, somewhere between 2000 and 2002.
Elayne passed away in 2005.
She gave me the novel with the words: “Gael Greene is a true nymphomaniac.” Elayne didn’t mean this as criticism. She was a flirtatious woman who had a weak spot for nymphomaniacs.
On the first page of Gael Greene’s novel I read: “Bed is where I’m making it these days, friends, and sometimes it seems I’m only limping along elsewhere.”

Bed is where we all should make it these days.
