This afternoon I arrived in Zurich.
My German publisher had left a box with copies of the German edition of “Our Uncle” (“Mitgenommen”) in my hotel. On top of the pile of books I found a note: “Could you please sign these books?”

Tomorrow morning before breakfast I’ll sign them all.
