Grudge match

After the launch of my new novel in the Netherlands I invited a group of friends to play Ping-Pong.
A competition was set up for the participants.
My English translator, Sam, beat me.
This afternoon we had our grudge match.
We went to SPiN, first we drank some booze, then we played table tennis, he beat me again (4-3) and after that we went to an Indian restaurant, Tamarind. Sam had lamb with apricots.
He said: “I love apricots.”
