Stellenbosch is a small, picturesque city.
Tonight I asked three ladies for directions.
“Aren’t you the writer?” one of the ladies asked. “We went to your reading yesterday. We will give you a ride.”

And the lovely front desk manager at my hotel said to me: “You’re back? That’s quick.”

It’s a good thing that I’m not paranoid.
