Summer

A scheme is not a vision

This evening my publisher in Zurich, Mr. Keel, called me.
Mr. Keel is my favorite publisher. He still has a vision. At least that’s what I like to believe.
Every time Mr. Keel calls me he tells me: “Arnon, I have a task for you. Write a love story with a happy ending, that takes place in the summer. A story that can be read by an old, catholic man.” Of course this is somehow offensive to old, catholic men and to me.
But I’m ready to forgive Mr. Keel.
One day I’ll write a love story. That takes place in the summer.
