Months ago, a friend urged me to see the play “Jerusalem” by Jez Butterworth.
Finally I saw it.
It’s a good play and Mark Rylance, who plays the main character Johnny “Rooster” Byron is an impressive actor.
Dave Itzkoff describes Rooster as an “ex-daredevil” but I didn’t see much ex in his daredevilry.
The daredevil fancies an underaged angel and the underaged angel fancies him, as we all know underaged angels are dangerous for daredevils living in mobile homes.
Since the economic crisis might hit the middle class hard this play is timely.
We must study caravan-dwellers; before we know it we will be caravan-dwellers ourselves.
