‘After the deaths of the three soldiers, Benjamin Netanyahureleased another video of condolences that looked scripted and directed by AI. He explained that the dead are part of the war's painful price. The clip was released while the prime minister was being cross-examined in his corruption trial; more specifically, the part about him receiving gifts like cigars, Champagne, luxury hotel rooms and flights abroad.
The dissonance couldn't have been greater. His followers are trying to resell the narrative that he's busy managing the war and making historic decisions while the judges waste his time on nonsense. But actually, a different impression is forming: an intolerable gap between what the prime minister is busy with and the suffering of the soldiers and hostages. (No one in Israel talks about the Palestinian civilians.)’

The suffering of the Palestinians takes place in parentheses, according to a large majority of the Israeli population. Maybe not even in parentheses.

And AI is not only determining what buildings should be bombed but apparently is also taking care of the condolences. For the Israeli soldiers that is.
