Kazimierz Dolny is a town about 35 miles west of Lublin.
This morning, two friends, my godson, his mother and I drove to Kazimierz Dolny.
We visited a bakery and a restaurant where we admired handmade cookies in the shape of sheep, ducks and rabbits.
The owner gave each of us a slightly sweet bread in the shape of a rooster, a signature product of the bakery.
By the time we were back in Lublin we were all stuffed like geese.
