‘The IDF Spokesperson's Unit issued a statement confirming the Israeli strike in the area of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
In the statement, the military said it "regrets any harm to uninvolved individuals and does not target journalists as such," and added that it acts to "mitigate harm to uninovled individuals as much as possible while maintaining the safety of IDF troops."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said in a statement that "Israel deeply regrets the tragic mishap that occurred today at the Nasser Hospital in Gaza."’
