I’ve been to many hotels, but Pension Frau Meise in Baden is quite unique.
I entered the guesthouse around lunchtime and I wondered: is this a hotel or a lunchroom? Two charming and rather beautiful ladies welcomed me.
One of the ladies said: “Your room is on the second floor, it’s called the Cuckoo’s Nest.” In order to go from the lunchroom to the guesthouse I needed to crawl through something that resembled a closet.
The room is spacious and comfortable, the shower is rather small, but then again: how much space do you need in a shower? No, Pension Frau Meise stole my heart.
