The train from Thessaloniki to Athens was packed. To my surprise the train had a dining car. A lovely steward made a delicious espresso (much better than on the TGV from Brussels to Perpignan) and a good grilled cheese sandwich.
All passengers were reading a book in my compartment (2nd class, 1st class was sold out).
We arrived almost on time in Athens.
