Tonight I saw part 1 of Lars von Trier’s “controversial new film, Nymphomaniac”, at least that’s how The Guardian labeled this movie.

“Nymphomaniac part 1” is definitely not bad porn, I would even hesitate to say that the movie is about a sex addict, unless we are willing to declare that approximately fifty percent of the movies made in Hollywood (and elsewhere) are about killing addicts. And the scene with Uma Thurman as a vengeful wife is one of the best scenes in the history of film. If only for this scene “Nymphomaniac part 1” is a must-see.
