Layer

Liver

For a trip to Congo I needed some vaccinations so I went to a so-called “travel clinic” in the center of Amsterdam.
“I’m not sure about this antimalarial medication, I’ve heard that the medicine may be worse than the illness,” I said.
“Yes,” the lovely lady working at the clinic answered, “some people got very depressed from these drugs, but now there is a new medicine with almost no side effects. What it does is putting a protective layer around your liver.”
"That sounds good,” I said politely.
"Take it with some fatty food," she added, "or with chocolate."
