On Saturday night my mother had to go to the hospital with something that appeared to be pneumonia.
Fortunately, my sister was in Amsterdam. She could accompany my mother to the hospital.
Today I spoke briefly to my mother. “Do you feel better than yesterday?” I asked.
“I don’t know,” she answered.
“But how do you feel?”
“As long as your sister is here I feel good.”
