While I was lying on the operating table the anesthesiologist said: “The machine that will take care of your breathing, the mechanical ventilation machine broke down. We will look for another machine. This will take another ten minutes.”
And the surgeon said: “Safety first. It’s the same thing as with 747’s. If one plane breaks down you will fly with another one.”
“That’s a huge relief,” I said.
