Yesterday afternoon at a book signing in a bookstore in my old neighborhood in Amsterdam a lady approached me.
She said: "I'm the mother of your old friend Eric."
"Of course, I remember you," I answered.
Briefly we discussed the documentary "Little Angels" -- then she said, "you are a special man," and she disappeared.
