The Dutch ambassador to Austria organized a small reception in honor of a couple of Dutch writers. The ambassador was a kind and sometimes even funny man. The older I get the better ambassadors get or maybe I got used to them.
Food and drinks were served by Asian women and men. Now, I'm not a fundamentalist when it comes to diversity -- mankind is flawed and we should accept not all but some of the flaws -- but I'd like to go to an embassy or residence of an ambassador where food and drinks ar served by tall, white men, preferably not bald.
