Child-author

Israel Ipenza Echeverria

Last night we had the biggest presentation of the smallest literary festival I have ever been to.
(Also the book fair of La Paz is recommended for anyone interested in small book fairs.)
Not only the two authors answered questions and read a few minutes from their novels, children also read stories.
There was a kid named Israel Ipenza Echeverria who called himself ‘a child-author’. (Israel is a fairly common name for boys in Bolivia.)
He had published himself two of his books, one called “Historias Para Amar”.
After the event he gave me his books and we exchanged e-mail addresses.
It was moving.
