Early this morning I went out with a convoy to the forward operating base of Poentjak, not far from the Baluchi Valley, which is off limits for NATO-troops.
Late in the afternoon we returned to Tarin Kowt after a small firefight with the enemy who is usually referred to as “Taliban.” On the picture you see my desk here at the base.
