Conversation

Quiet

Tomorrow I'll have dinner with a Dutch author, she is in her eighties, and an actor.
Through an consigliere she informed me today that the restaurant had to be really quiet, otherwise she wouldn't be able to follow the conversation.
I had the feeling that the restaurant where I had reserved a table was rather quiet, but maybe she expected more quiet than any restaurant could offer. I informed the consigliere that perhaps a hotelroom would be our best bet, we could order room service, enjoy the food and each other's company. But since I had already reserved the restaurant, I suggested that we started there, would it be too loud for her taste there we would move to a nearby hotel.
In general people should have more often dinner in hotel rooms.
