On the global extreme right and its enemies, Ronen Steinke in the Süddeutsche about one of its main enemies, in a manifesto linked to the accused killer of the massacre in New Zealand Merkel has been singled out:

'...und ganz zentral ist Angela Merkel, "die Mutter all dessen, was anti-weiß und anti-germanisch ist".'

(approximately: she is the mother of all that's anti-white and anti-German)

Indeed, Merkel is the enemy of everything the extreme right wants to achieve: a pure, Christian, heterosexual, white Europe, America or for that matter New Zealand.

Merkel has challenged and challenges this dangerous idea of extreme homogeneity.

I'm not sure if her successor wil live up to Merkel's standards, but for the moment I'm a proud member of the Angela Merkel fan club.
