Dinner al fresco after the reading in Frankfurt.
I initiated a conversation about the post-Merkel era. There appeared to be unanimity that Merkel lacked vision, but the people were divided whether that was good or bad. (I for one believe that visions and politicians are a hapless combination.)
The majority said that the Greens were slightly more than just vegetarian Christian-Democrats.
My conclusion: people (in Germany and elsewhere) are waiting for the revolution as if the revolution is just a new and fashionable hair salon around the corner.
