Dining car

Intelligent and charming

I completely forgot to take a picture of the audience tonight. To make up for this omission I post a picture of the nespresso machine, which I found in my hotel room in Basel at the foot of my bed (more or less).
The reading in Basel was for a change fairly pleasant. No elevator music and a host who seemed to be genuinely interested. I would give this audience (and the reading) an 8.5.
According to insiders within the publishing house two of the most intelligent and charming ladies of my German publishing house, based in Zurich, accompanied me to the inner city of Basel for a glass of wine.
Also I was supposed to meet a man working for a Swiss train company this evening, but this person didn’t make himself known to me.
I plan to work in a Swiss dining car this summer.
