We ordered an Uber from our hotel near Bedford to Bedford Hills train station.
But then we changed our minds and we decided to go back to Manhattan by Uber.
The driver arrived, we sat down, we said: 'We changed the address, we go all the way with you to Manhattan.'
He said: 'No, I don't go to Manhattan. I'd rather be beaten up than going to Manhattan.'
'Okay,' I said, 'fair enough.'
We stepped out of his vehicle. He waved, shouted, 'you'll find another driver, don't worry,' and drove away.
