Rossini's on 38th street, an Italian restaurant that could have been in New Jersey, inside it could have been 1982 or 1976.
On Saturdays an elderly opera singer entertains the diners with 'God Bless America' and songs from 'The Lion King'. In between, some more serious opera songs.
A man in his 70s (a regular diner) in a bright red jacket was the star of the evening. But when the opera singer started to sing 'God Bless America,' the man dully accepted his place in the wings of the restaurant.
