Last night I participated in a discussion at KNAW about freedom of the arts and sciences. A philosopher and economist about the dangers that threaten science, according to her, not enough money is one of the main threats to science in the Netherlands.
I spoke about attention economy and Böhmermann.
Some people in the audience appeared to be in urgent need of an enemy.
