Dancing in the city of Roermond for approximately thirty people, at least six of them came from Amsterdam and its surroundings. Everything was better than in Assen. But I won’t badmouth Assen.
The war seemed far away, inflation even farther.
And then there was Osteria da Mauro, a delight, even in time of war, the frescos painted by the owner were delightful as well.
