Thursday morning, Tramezzino (a sandwich shop) in Amsterdam.
Three women were discussing high schools and children.
Then out of the blue one of the women, she was wearing a cap, said: ‘I had to reattach a child's arm yesterday. A dog had bitten it off.’
The subject of puberty and high schools was gone.
Dogs killing babies was now the topic. The sun was shining, it was a beautiful morning.
Then the woman with the cap said: ‘If there’s no infection, the child will have two arms in the future.’
