On Sunday the 1st of September, NRC Handelsblad published Arnon Grunberg's first story on his stay at a secure juvenile care facility De Koppeling in Amsterdam, where he will live for 14 days and nights. The facility houses youths that have been placed into care for protection from themselves or from a toxic family or social environment on the outside.
