A matter of time

Not one police officer stopped my vehicle, threatened to rape my driver or to kidnap me. There was nobody to bribe.
The stories told by Brazilians about Paraguay turned to be – at least for now – bogus.
I plan to have dinner tonight at a restaurant called “The German Garden.” The news that German children can be named again “Adolf” struck me as sign that for every statesman rehabilitation is just a matter of time.
Here in my hotel in Paraguay they love Michael Jackson’s music. Maybe also a sign of rehabilitation.
