Today I spoke about my work at an international school in Dubai.
One of the pupils in the auditorium asked: “You are not a fan of religion are you?”
“Well,” I answered, “I’m not religious myself, but I would recommend reading the bible, even if you don’t believe in God.”
“And you don’t like bananas?” the same pupil asked.
“How do you know?” I asked.
“You wrote something about bananas on your site.”
“It’s true, I don’t like bananas.”
“Bananas are good for you when you have a backache.”
“I will start eating bananas as soon as I have a backache,” I promised the pupil.
