Yesterday, during a public interview in Madrid the subject of exile came up.
To be precise, I started talking about exile.
It’s questionable whether voluntary exile can be named exile. And as others have pointed out, there is the temptation to romanticize exile.
Before I went to bed I resolved to avoid the subject of exile during interviews.
