Emptiness

Tomorrow

Tomorrow my mother is leaving the hospital, inshallah.
She is going home.
I have problems imagining a life without going to the hospital every afternoon.
I said to a friend: “My life without hospitals is nothing but emptiness.”

(One of the commenters on this site sent my mother a drawing. The drawing is hanging on the wall in her room, but I’m afraid that she is only moderately enthusiastic about the artwork.)
