Tonight I went to a so-called pop-up restaurant, What Happens When.
The food experience was good, the sound experience was mediocre, the visual experience was just above average.
What Happens When popped up on 25 Cleveland Place. Bistro Le Jardin used to be on that address. Gerard Maurice, the owner of Le Jardin, was a friend of mine. Somewhere in 1999 or 2000 I lost track of him, or he lost track of me.
Gerard and I enjoyed going to Atlantic City, but without him Atlantic City has never been the same.
