Tonight I listened to two authors who were discussing erotic stories.
One of the authors said that Michel Houellebecq didn’t have a sense of humor.
I’m not so sure about that, although I can see other reasons to criticize Houellebecq’s novels.
But then again, Nabokov wrote: “The sharpest jealousy of all, is that between one woman and another, and that between one littérateur and another.”
