Claustrophobic

Salad

“What’s the movie about?” my friend asked. We had seen the Iranian movie “A Seperation” (directed by: Asghar Farhadi) at Film Forum.
“About justice,” I answered with some hesitation. “And in a subtle way also about Iran, I guess. The woman wants to leave Iran, but she cannot say why.” “Yes," my friend said, "and the rest of the movie makes clear that leaving is probably the best option. The movie is so gloomy, so claustrophobic.” Then my friend ordered a salad Niçoise and I ordered mussels.
