After my reading in Herne the owner of the bookstore where the reading took place was distressed.
During or before the event a thief snuck in and stole the wallets and some mobile phones of the employees of the bookstore.
“I’m so sorry,” I said to the lovely owner of the bookstore, while she was waiting for the police.
“This is something you are not responsible for,” she answered.
